Pablo Puello, MD, is the Medical Director of South Florida Dialysis Center (SFDC) and a highly respected nephrologist currently serving the communities of Vero Beach and Sebastian. With extensive training in nephrology and internal medicine, Dr. Puello completed his Nephrology Fellowship at the Cleveland Clinic Florida and is board-certified in Internal Medicine and Nephrology. He obtained his medical degree from the University of Health Sciences Antigua in 2013 and served as chief Intern during his intership in the Hospital El Maestro and graduated from internal medicine at San Juan City Hospital in Puerto Rico. Dr. Puello is committed to advancing renal care and has participated in various specialized training programs, including those in peritoneal dialysis, home dialysis, and CRRT. With a passion for both clinical care and biomedical research, he has contributed to studies on acute kidney injury, breast cancer hormonal therapy, and vaccine development. Dr. Puello is an active member of multiple professional organizations, including the American Society of Nephrology and the  National Kidney Foundation and has demonstrated a deep commitment to serving communities, including volunteering in the aftermath of Hurricane Maria. His leadership and expertise are vital to SFDC’s mission of providing high-quality care and improving the lives of patients in need of renal services.
